Windsor Wedding Photography | Sprucewood Winery | Amanda & Kevin

Amanda and Kevin are one of those couples who always seem to be having fun together. We were so excited to shoot their Sprucewood Winery Wedding. When we did their engagement session last year, there were so many pictures of the laughing and giggling together it was hard to choose which ones were the best! Their big day started off with the getting ready photos. All the girls at the salon, complete with snacks and mimosa’s started the morning off right. I knew Amanda’s look would be beautiful and classical. She has the most amazing bright red hair and she choose to do an up do with pin curls, which looked absolutely amazing. As a Windsor wedding photographer, I am obsessed with wedding gowns and her gown was a perfect combination of tulle and and lace, with just a hint of blush. My colleague, Nikki, spent the morning with the guys, who chose to adorn band shirts under their tuxes, which also was completely awesome. Even though it was a pretty dismal day, rainy and cold, everyone was in great spirits and ready to get these two married off.

They had a traditional catholic ceremony at St John’s in Amherstburg. They exchanged vows in front of all of their family and friends. We decided to shoot part of their creative session right there at the church. The trees were beautiful fall colours and made for some great photos! AFter that we headed over to Sprucewood Winery for more pics. Being it was quite rainy at that point, we made good use of the inside space and barrel room. Both Amanda and Kevin are super laid back and were so fun to photograph. Photographing people is always different in every circumstance. Some people are very uncomfortable in front of the camera and these two definitely were not! I really didn’t have to direct them as they always seemed to be whispering to each other and laughing at their own little secret personal jokes. It was truly a pleasure to see their love for each other through my lens.

The reception was done in gold tones, with navy and red accents, gorgeous decor done by Gail’s Flower and Events. The couple entered the hall with the biggest smiles on their face and the evening was full of speeches, laughing and a fabulous meal by Chef Don. It was a wonderful day and we are so happy for them. We wish you guys a lifetime of laughing together and keeping your love alive! Congratulations to Amanda and Kevin.
