I love when a wedding bring two different cultures together, for everyone to experience different customs, tradition and food! Laura and Mike’s wedding was the the perfect blend of traditional canadian traditions and Nigerian customs. As a Windsor wedding photographer, we have so many different cultures in this city, so I always love to embrace and learn about everyones traditions. It is what keeps this job new and fresh for us as photographers. Laura and Mike said their vows at Our Lady of Assumption in front of all of their families and friends. For their creative session we headed over to Willistead Manor with their bridal party. Their reception was held at Ambassador Golf Club. The room was decorated in white and gold by Allure Events and the beautiful cake was provided by Sweet Revenge Bakery. The reception again, introduced us to some Nigerian cuisine, starting with a popular nigerian snack Chin Chin, which is a delicious deep fried sweet dough….delicious! The meal was provided by the amazing executive chef Daniele at Ambassador Golf Club. The evening was filled with speeches, dances and a traditional Nigerian woman’s dance , at which this point Laura and Mike changed into their traditional Nigerian dress. The colours are bold and beautiful and simply gorgeous! A great dance party was held by all and we wish Laura and Mike a lifetime of laughs and love!
