Rachelle and Darren decided their love story was meant to be on September 5th. This past year Covid definitely changed a lot of couples wedding plans, but for these two all that mattered was each other. Originally a much larger event, they narrowed their guest list to 35 people who meant the most to them. Of course there were many missing loved ones that couldn’t make it due to border issues, they were absolutely there in spirit. The morning was full of excitement. I walked into a house full of energy, music and smiles. The bride wore a fitted gown, with side cut outs and an illusion neckline and open back. The bride being a huge Harry Potter fan, was surprised with a special gift from her groom ( see pics to see what it was). The first look was sweet and full of giggles and a very special private moment for the couple. Their time taking their wedding pics was full of snuggles, kisses, laughter and a whole lot of fun. Their friends are just a super group of fun people….I can certainly see why they choose them to stand by them on their most special day. The wedding was held on the grounds of the beautiful Mastronardi Winery. The couple exchanged their own personally written vows, with a couple nods from the movie the Wedding singer. Beautifully said and equally touching. Although not all of their family was there in person, the bride and groom were surprised with many factime messages including the brides step dad in full tuxedo dress and her sister in her bridesmaids dress. Again beautiful and equally touching. As a wedding photographer we are so blessed to see and capture significant moments for people and especially in times like these, where everything is a little uncertain and different, one thing stay the same…..the feeling of love and family on a wedding day. No matter how small or large, near or far, it is an unexplainable feeling to stop those moments in time with our camera. The reception, was beautifully decorated in an outdoor tent, with wood and greenery touches. The evening was celebrated with an amazing meal, heartfelt speeches and even a dance party to top of the night. We wish Rachelle and Darren a lifetime of happiness and love and never stop living the promises in your vows. After all this time……..congratulations Mr and Mrs Bodi.
