There are always weddings, that after shooting for 13 years, you will always remember and Hailey and Vic’s wedding will definitely be one of them. It was a warm July day and it was also a very very wet day. I had been watching the weather all week hoping it would change, as it usually does, but it didn’t. The wedding was held at a campsite and was a completely outdoor wedding, so when we get rain on a day like this, the challenges can start to add up pretty quick. That being said, no matter the weather or circumstances we are thrown, the goal is still the same. Capture beautiful images for this couple and that’s exactly what we did. Despite a last minute change to where the ceremony was held, the bride and groom made it down the aisle right on time. Hailey is an avid horse lover and her horse, Blue, accompanied her down the aisle, which was a great moment. I have seen a lot of different traditions, customs and events during a wedding ceremony but since Vic and Hailey are tattoo artists ( they own the Till Death do us Art on Walker Road in Windsor- check them out if you need some ink! ), they decided to tattoo each other during the ceremony! Like seriously how cool is that! With a quick tattoo and a kiss to seal the deal , they became husband and wife! At this point during the day the rain was non stop and coming down fairly hard, but with no complaints from anyone, we took some amazing wedding images. I have to give this bride and groom a major shoutout for not being afraid to get a little wet and as a result some pretty epic images were made. We had a fabulous meal, dances and then the party got started! The evening was topped off with a custom written song by the groom, which he sang Hailey. Again, another cool moment. The love between Vic and Hailey is clear to see. They are clearly not only husband and wife, but partners is all aspects of life, not to mention best friends. We wish them a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness and to keep creating art for the world to see! Congrats guys!
