Alycia and Brad’s wedding day was a beautiful September day filled with lots of personal touches. The girls spent the morning getting ready at Alycia’s parents home, complete with the sweetest first look with her dad. Nothing makes a wedding morning more complete than the family pup dressed for the occasion ( scroll down to see the finest little gentleman). They decided to do a first look right across the street from Brad’s parents house in front of a tiny little chapel that Brad’s parents married in decades before. It was a super special moment for the whole family. With a quick stop at a coffee shop in Kingsville for a pic, we then arrived at Sprucewood for the creative session. One of my favourite moments of the day was when Alycia walked down the aisle to the same song Brads mom walked down the aisle to ( scroll to see her reaction lol ). Vows were exchanged, rings found their permanent place and the first kiss as husband and wife was given! The reception followed with a great meal, an amazing first dance and heartfelt speeches. The evening was topped off with a beautiful sparkler exit and then a great dance party. Its always a pleasure to be invited into someones life on the most important day of their life. I realize what a blessing and privilege that is every time I photograph a wedding. The start of a beautiful marriage begins at the altar, but the magic of being with that perfect partner is something that continues for decades to come. I wish them the happiest of days together, the most joyous experiences together and a lifetime of special moments like this fabulous September day.
