There is nothing I love more than a unique wedding and Becky and Robs wedding one of them! I first connected with Becky when she inquired about photography and in our discussions we both realized we were veterinary technicians, me of course retired from that profession but still none the less a very cool thing to have in common. She told me that there were having a barn wedding and I immediately wanted to see pics and was blown away by the photos she showed me of the venue! When I photographed Rob and Becky for their engagement photos, it was very easily to see the wonderful connection these two have with one another and that they truly have a whole lot of fun together. The day of the wedding was a gorgeous sunny warm day and we decided to do a first look at Ojibway. They had decided to not have a bridal party so it was an intimate, lovely time photographing them before the big walk down the aisle. After our time at Ojibway we made our way to this beautiful private venue.
Rob and Becky said their vows in front of all their family and friends, followed by a cocktail hour on the grounds! The ceremony was held outside in a gorgeous yard behind the barn surrounded by a pond and outdoor pews. Of course the show was stolen a bit by all their nieces and nephews who did serve as their ring bearers and flower girls! A great job was done by all of them! The reception was held in the barn, complete with beautiful twinkle lights, flowers and a rustic feel. The bar was the ultimate set up complete with ready made slushy machines for daiquiris and margaritas, sangrias and lemonades ( the boozy kind of course). The meal was a delicious buffet with more food than anyone could eat and dessert was cupcakes and a self serve ice cream machine! It was truly a perfect feast for this celebration!
The couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, the music provided by the wonderful Joe and Sharon of Celebrity Music! The dance floor was then opened for the party to start. It was truly just a wonderful day and Becky and Rob are the kind of couple you just know are are going to have the most beautiful life together. They were all smiles from morning to night! We wish you guys an amazing marriage, life and keep having fun together!!!
