Brittany & Justin’s Engagement Session
I met Brittany and Justin last year when they came in for a consult for their wedding this fall. I instantly felt ease in their presence and after finding out they are both nurses I knew why! Obviously our health care workers have worked so incredibly hard the past few years, ( as they always do), so it was exciting to get to see them enjoy themselves for their engagement shoot! We made a plan to meet at Gladstone Commons, a newer restaurant in Windsor located on Gladstone. I have not yet had the chance to eat there myself, but both Brittany and Justin raved about the food. I have to say whatever was cooking when I walked in smelled delicious! So we grabbed some drinks and had some fun there shooting before they were open to the public, which was so kind on their behalf. I love getting couples in front of the camera prior to their wedding day. It gives them a chance to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Brittany and Justin as you can see had no problem being in front of the camera!
We then headed downtown to a rooftop to shoot some images with the wonderful Detroit skyline in the background. I love shooting in that location as well, because it kind of feels like you are in any city in the world! I had such a wonderful time with this very laid back and easy going couple. You can definitely feel their love for each other, and you can tell that they have a lot of fun together as well. I can’t wait for their fall wedding this year and look forward to creating more beautiful images for them to start their married life together! Thanks Justin and Brittany for the wonderful session!!
