Kim and Jordon got married on a beautiful day in September, the perfect time of year for a Windsor wedding. I started the day with Kim and all her wonderful bridesmaids in the morning getting ready for her big walk down the aisle. The morning was full of hair and makeup and making sure Kim looked just perfect. Her beautiful gown looked like it was made just for her. A lace, slim fitted gown with cut out sides literally fitted her perfectly. The bridemaids wore navy blue and the flowers were a beautiful combination of blue with a splash of bright yellow, the perfect mix for a wedding that falls between summer and fall. Working with us that day was Danielle Rorai from Danielle Rorai Photography and she spent the morning with the guys out on the family farm. What do you do when you are on a farm? You take pictures with the tractors of course!
Kim and Jordons wedding ceremony was filled with lots of love, sweet moments, a wonderful display of their prominent faith and a beautiful candle lighting ceremony that included all of their guests! To finish the ceremony off they surprised their guests with a yummy snack of popcorn to thank them for “popping by”.
We did their creative session at Brunet Park in Lasalle and Willistead Manor in Walkerville. It is clear to see how much these two love each other. The ease and fun they had while shooting their creative session just comes out in their images. After the session we headed over to Beach Grove Golf Club for their reception, which was simply decorated accented the beautiful yellow flowers with a rustic twist. With homemade cookies for guest favours and homemade pies for dessert it was certainly a family affair. A wonderful meal, heartfelt speeches, a beautiful first dance made the evening perfect for this couple. To top the evening off we headed outside for some night photos and were blessed with a little sprinkle of rain for their last photo of the day! We had a wonderful time and we wish them them a lifetime of happiness and love!
