Windsor Wedding Photographer ~ Julianne & Mike's Wedding

I always love the first wedding of the season! Being a Windsor wedding photographer,the warmer weather, brings that excitement and anticipation back, as well as an opportunity to once again watch a love story play out in front of my camera! This past weekend, on a very very hot Saturday, we spent the day capturing Mike and Julianne’s beautiful wedding day! We started out in the morning with all the girls at her parents house. Really just a bunch of super laid back girls having a good time! I was so surprised and exciting to see that Julianne had two styles for her wedding. A beautiful mermaid style gown, but with a removable tulle skirt, so she could change up her look halfway through the day! How cool is that? Also our very talented bride made her bouquets…not just putting them together, but made every single flower by hand. AMAZING! We got Julianne into her…..two …..dresses and then rushed off to the Augustus Hotel at Ceasar’s,to meet her groom. Joining me as my second shooter, was the amazing Nicole Harris, who spent the morning with the guys and the super tough ring security guy! He took his job very seriously ( and was incredibly adorable). The couple exchanged wedding vows in a short, but sweet ceremony at the hotel! We proceeded to their creative session around the downtown area and riverfront! Being it was a very very warm day and we had lots of time before the ceremony, we decided to take a quick break at The Bistro Restaurant for some cocktails….and air conditioning. We finished up photos and headed to the Augustus Ballroom at the casino for a beautiful reception. The decor was done in a beautiful rose gold, complete with a 3 tiered gorgeous buttercream cake! The food was spectacular and Nightbeat Entertainment got the party started!

We had such a fun day with Jewels and Mike. To be around them you can really see how much they love each other. The other thing I noticed about this couple is that they were always laughing and having fun. They are clearly best friends and I have no doubt in my mind that this is a loves story that will stand the test of time. We wish you guys so much happiness and love throughout your lives. We hope you have an amazing honeymoon and look back on this day with the fondest memories:)
