I have been a Windsor wedding photographer for almost 16 years now, and its not very often we get a day where it rains all day, but for Julia and Dereks wedding, despite the rain all day, was probably one of the most enjoyable weddings I have ever photographed. Yes the decor was beautiful, the food from Ambassador Golf Club was incredible, the flowers from CJH Florals , absolutely stunning, but what really made this day special you ask? Well it’s a very very simple answer, the people. I had met Julia a few years ago, when I photographed her brothers wedding ( also incredible by the way! ) and I remembered her as this tiny, bubbly, energetic person, and that is exactly what she brought to this day! You know when you meet a person and their energy, vibes, ,whatever you call it, is just infectious? That is this couple right here. Also being a Windsor wedding photographer for as long as I have, I know true love when I see it and these two ooze it, from everywhere. Not only was the bride stunning in her beautifully sparkly gown ( she very much insisted that she comes from a glitter forward household, hence the sparkly dress), but the entire bridal party looked amazing! They did a first look at the Ciociario Club, which provided a stunning backdrop for their creative session. The vows were exchange inside at Ambassador Golf Club, officiated by one of the bridesmaids, and brides very good friend. An amazing dinner was served, heartfelt speeches said and meaningful dances with the parents and each other. After a quick cake cutting, DJ Vic opened up the dance floor and the entire room became electric! It really was a day that will certainly stand out in not only my memory, but for everyone who attended. To Julia and Derek, I wish you guys so much happiness, glitter, adventures and of course love and family for a lifetime. Thank you for having me capture such an important day . It was truly an honour.
