Windsor Wedding Photographer – Jill Wilhelm – Lisa & Kyle’s Wedding.
When I first met Lisa and Kyle, she immediately told me her vision for her wedding was a fairytale theme. She has always loved fairytales and on her wedding day she got live her real life fairytale. I always like to ask my couples how they got engaged and I have to say Kyle may just win the prize this year for the sweetest engagement. Knowing her love of fairytales, he set up a beautiful flower filled area in Ojibway park and had her own fairytale book written for her. He took her for a walk and surprised her with this beautiful setting and custom made fairytale which ended with him proposing……sigh…if only all men were this romantic!
Their fall wedding took place on a windy day in October. I spent the morning with the girls while they were getting ready and Lisa really did hit the fairytale theme spot on with her gorgeous ballgown, tiara and red roses. They had their ceremony at the Fogolar Furlon Club, where they exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. We took them and their bridal party around the grounds to capture some creative shots in the beautiful fall colours. We then took Kyle and Lisa to Jackson Park and Kennedy high school for some more pics. The turrets of Kennedy made the perfect backdrop for a fairytale wedding theme.
The reception was held at the Fogolar Club, decorated in a gold and red theme, fitting for a princess. The cake was even a cinderella castle. The speeches, first dance and all the special moments really were their own true fairytale. A fabulous evening was had by all. We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness and that they continue to believe in fairytales.
